A fire engine, also known as a fire truck or fire apparatus, is a specially designed vehicle used for firefighting. Fire engines are often the first to arrive at a fire scene and are equipped to transport firefighters and water, as well as carry firefighting equipment. They can also be used for other purposes, such as wildfire suppression, aircraft rescue, and technical rescue.

A brush truck is a fire engine specifically designed to assist in fighting wildfires by transporting firefighters to the scene and providing them with access to the fire, along with water or other equipment.


Quick Response Service 5782: This is our 2012 F250.

Quick Response Service fire truck is a vehicle that carries equipment and emergency medical services (EMS) providers to respond to medical emergencies before an ambulance arrives. QRS units are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and provide similar care to an ambulance, but do not transport patients.
